This music is from crossriver. It’s from Vancouver. From the day to day activities. somewhere from my heart… my identity for a year.

Originally planned to be a 15-minute mix for the side b of an unborn tape between “BEEFTANNEN” and “crossriver”. Unfortunately, the project was scrapped, so Kazuya-san of “Black Urban Tapes” offered a full, 30-minute tape instead. This prompted me to gather around a cohesive representation of my year. Organized, “from” was born.

“from” is a genuine reflection of the moods, the attitudes and the loneliness of a not-so-special year. Experimentation is evident and is a foreshadow to the next.
